Well, I’ve had my operation and have been released from Sunderland Royal hospital and am feeling good.I have to take it easy for 3-4 weeks and then I should be back to normal. 10/11/18

The club originated in Wear side health and raquets club a number of years ago, it was then taken over by another company who didn’t support us so we then moved on to Farringdon Badminton Academy. With in 2 years after that we became a premier club but found ourselves restricted as we couldn’t expand at the rate we preferred. As we also needed to be closer to the centre of Sunderland to allow us to be more accessible. So when the opportunity to move to Sans Community centre presented itself we jumped at the chance. We were settling in but as Farringdon became re available we moved to enjoy the fabulous facilities . We are an inclusive club covering for ages and abilities. We have been successful over the past few years of producing county and even international player and we can see this continuing. Casual players are also welcome. Operating our sessions weekly on Friday evenings 7.00-9.00 excluding non school term times. We hope to continue through out the years.

Club facilities include a coffee Machine as well as free parking on arrival!
